It is with great pleasure and much humility that the Gilyeat for Congress Campaign announces that SSgt. Daniel Gilyeat, USMC (Ret) who is running in the Kansas 3rd District Congressional race has been endorsed by Col. George "Bud" Day, USAF(R), MOH-Air Force Cross, who is the most highly decorated living US Military Veteran. He is a Veteran of WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. He was a POW in Viet Nam in the same camp and sometimes the same room with Senator John McCain during his six yeas of captivity. He was the only POW to escape from a Vietnamese torture camp only to be recaptured and sent to a North Vietnamese POW camp. for a video salute to Col. My name is Col. George "Bud" Day, Medal of Honor-Air Force Cross. I am a veteran of WWII, Korea and received the Medal of Honor for service as an Air Force POW in N. Vietnam.

I fully endorse SSgt. Daniel Gilyeat for election to Congress in the year 2010. He is a combat veteran who is determined to take our country back, and restore some common sense and spending sense to a Congress with few Veterans and very few heroes. Please support this candidate with some cash and some effort to elect him. He will not be signing any legislation that he has not read!!! please help.
