AIP (America’s Independent Party—Kansas) Announces it’s Endorsement of SSgt. Dan Gilyeat

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

4 November 2009 -- Kansas City KS --- America's Independent Party of Kansas announced its endorsement of Daniel Gilyeat, Republican candidate for third district U. S. Congress. The AIP is a Reagan conservative principle oriented group. Affiliation with AIP is made according to proven adherence to America's founding principles without regard to existing party registration.

This is Gilyeat's first run for public office. In explaining why he's running for Congress, Gilyeat stated, "the people of the third district need a man with the backbone to say what he means and mean what he says; a man who can be trusted and won't lose focus of what he is elected to do. A man who can't be bought, persuaded, pressured or bullied to make decisions he knows are wrong for his constituents.

"We need someone who has deep roots, a true warrior who will never forget where he comes from or where he is going and why. Someone who knows what the price of freedom truly costs and will fight to the very death defending that freedom. Someone who believes the oath to defend this country against all enemies, foreign and domestic, is more than words to recite once elected. Someone who is disciplined enough to put principle above political party."
