1 mile east of the Legends on Leavenworth Rd.

On I-435 N just past the Legend's exits

Take the Leavenwoth Rd Exit East to 91st & Leavenworth Rd

Turn Left

Go to the west (left) side of the lake and follow signs to the Beach Shelter House

 

The Beach Shelter is on the water on the west side of the lake. This is the largest shelter at Wyandotte County Lake. It has 14 tables, 2 grills and the restroom is attached. A handicap ramp is located on the upper level and the restrooms are handicap accessible. Parking is available on the lower level and the upper level. The boat house and two small practice ball fields are within walking distance.
